Hello!

I’m Mary. I’m 22 and a photographer based in London.

I started getting into photography in 2023 after coming across some street photographers on social media. There was something about their work that really pulled me in — simple moments that felt real and full of meaning. It made me want to pick up a camera and try it for myself.

I was studying Interior design at university and had a side job at an ice cream shop in London. My little side hustle of ice cream scooping had saved me some money so I splashed out and bought my first camera, a Fujifilm XT5. At first I hadn’t a clue anything about photography really other than that fact that I wanted to be good at it. I spent hours watching videos about all the settings on my camera and spent a year taking fairly mediocre images. However my persistence in teaching my self the skill is now paying off. I also have since started exploring film photography and photojournalism.

Please take a look through my portfolio!
